A variety of shows and demonstrations on sheep and wool crafts, a used equipment sale, craft sales tables, and workshops will be offered.
Fleece And Fiber Show:
• Judged by Amy Wolf starting Thursday afternoon. Amy is a regionally respected sheep, goat and fiber judge from Monroe, Washington.
• Silent auction of the best 15 fleeces.
• Fleece sale and auction starts Saturday at 10am. Only entries receiving ribbons will be included in the sale.
• All entries will be sifted for soundness and must be shown unwashed.
• Sheep and goat fleeces shall be whole, but skirted appropriately. Rabbit fur shall be 1 oz. or more per entry.
Llama, alpaca fleeces shall consist of the whole “blanket”. Other fibers shall be 5 oz. or more.
• Fibers must be North American grown during the past year.
• Ten entries per farm/family maximum.
• Fleeces must be delivered to the “J” Barn on the fairgrounds on Wednesday, April 13th between 6pm and 9 pm.
Sheep Show And Sale:
• As directed by the Western Washington Fair Management, there will not be a sheep show and sale this year.
Used Equipment Sale:
• We are again offering a used equipment sale. If you have an excess of farm or fiber related equipment or tools
and wish to find them a new home, this is the place to do it. Only tools and equipment will be accepted (spinning
wheels, looms, carders, fitting stands, clippers, etc). Gate Passes will be sent to Equipment Consignors.
• Bring your items according to the "haul-in" schedule shown below. The Extravaganza will provide sale tags for your name, address, phone number. The seller will pay the Shepherds' Extravaganza 10% of the final selling price. Sales tax will also be collected. All items not sold must be removed between 6pm and 7pm, Sunday, April 17th, 2011. Items not picked up will become property of the Western Washington Sheep and Fleeces Shows.

Craft Tables:
• For the sale of sheep and fiber-related items. Raw fibers must not be sold from the Craft Tables.
• Tables must be attended during the Fair hours, especially through the close of the Fair on Sunday evening.
• Priority will be given to new US produced products.
Promotional Tables or Pens:
• These tables or pens are for promoting your farm or your farm services.
Workshops:
• See the back of this letter. Workshop sign-up deadline is April 9, 2011. No refunds after this date.
